Hailing from the captivating sonic landscape of Kaurna Land (Adelaide), Pine Point, a quartet consisting of Elliot Oakes, Hamish Gibson-Smith (Dead Roo), Harriet Fraser-Barbour (Workhorse), and Tom Matheson (Junk Harmony), define their sound by its dream-like qualities and soft vocals layered in contrast with raw, textural guitar. Pine Point's enthralling compositions transport their audience to a world where melodies and emotions intertwine seamlessly.

Over the course of the year, Pine Point have been redefining and refining their musical style at Interim Studios, and their latest single, "Say It Again," serves as a prime example of their distinct sound. It's a poignant reflection on the complexities of heartbreak and the struggle to reconcile with lost love. Written amidst the turmoil of a breakup, the track encapsulates the longing and remorse that often accompany such experiences. "Say It Again" showcases Pine Point's ability to craft introspective lyrics and innovative sonic exploration, with guitarist Tom taking on the role of producer.

Their second single, "Old Dog/New Socks," delves even deeper into themes of loss and acceptance. Written during a period of profound change marked by the dissolution of a relationship and the passing of a beloved pet, Kanga, the song explores the ache of longing for what's no longer present while grappling with the inevitability of mortality.
